A message from the Arts Director and Special Events Planner:
Hey there! My name is Nagashree Thovinakere and I’m excited to be co-planning the first ever ultimate arts show – Nuit Verte, with Kesidha Raajakesary. I’m currently in my third year of Life Sciences III in the sensory motor specialization. My two favourite things are science and puns! Other than enjoying good puns, I love adventure sports including sky diving and scuba diving!
Hi! My name is Kesidha Raajakesary. I can’t wait to see you at the Art show. I’m currently in my second year of Psychology, Neuroscience and Behaviour. I love going on science rants with people and binge watching Netflix!
This event is aimed to bridge the gap between science and arts by giving science students an opportunity to get their creative juices flowing and showcase their talents. The night will be filled with amazing performances from the McMaster Improv team, MSS musical, and a musical showcase from “Good Question.” You also do not want to miss an exquisite fashion show put on by our very own science students. The night gets even better when you see poets take their experiences and express it into words and a performance through slam poetry. Make sure to check out some amazing art and photography works that will be displayed around the venue, and even get a chance to talk to the artists! Join us in our DIY station where you can make your own art pieces such as rock painting. The event will be taking place on January 25, 2018 at Bridges Café. Mark your calendars as you don’t want to miss out on such an amazing night! We hope to see you all there! Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions or would like to get involved with the event and we would love to chat!
