Applications for MSS Graduation Scholarships and the Community Builder Award have closed.
Every year the MSS recognizes exceptional students in the Faculty of Science. We offer 4 graduation scholarships and a number of community builder awards to recognize both academic achievement and positive impacts on both McMaster students and the surrounding community. Academic Achievement Graduation Scholarship
Requirements:

Two $800 scholarships.

Minimum cumulative GPA of over 10.5.

Graduate with a B.Sc., B.Sc. (Honours), or B.MRSc. from McMaster University by June 30th of the year of application.

Pursuing Graduate or Professional School (proof of intention is required)
Oustanding Contributions to the Community Graduation Scholarship
Requirements:

Two $800 scholarships

Achieve a minimum cumulative GPA of 8.5

Graduate with a B.Sc., B.Sc. (Honours), or B.MRSc. from McMaster University by June 30th of the year of application
Community Builder Award
Community builders are those who demonstrate a commitment to improving the experience of those around them. They are supportive, positive, and make McMaster feel like home.
This is a special award presented by the MSS that requires you to be nominated by another McMaster student form any faculty. Every year, there are 6 awards, and one award must be presented to a Science student in each level.
