My Year Plan

About Me

Hi Hello! My name is Vanessa and I am super excited to be your Research and Volunteer coordinator this year! I can't wait to work with the rest of the VP external team to bring you a year of exciting opportunities. If I'm not in the MSS office you can probably catch me taking a nap in HSL. In my spare time I love playing soccer, doing puzzles, and watching endless amounts of Netflix (turns out you can run out of shows).

Goals and Projects

  1. Improving communication about research and volunteer opportunities both on and off campus

  2. Transitioning Symbiosis, an online networking event for students, to an online format

  3. Planning/hosting research workshops to equip McMaster students with the tools and knowledge needed to successfully pursue research positions

  4. Working with the VP external to integrate research opportunity information into the MSS newsletter

Fun Fact About Me

I love cats but I'm allergic to them. I guess you could say it's a cat-astrophe.
